Thanks to all who made the first annual Policy Picnic a success!
The Lead Maine community gathered for a September evening at an Auburn apple orchard to get to know one another and chat about the many issues facing our state.
Each attendee had the opportunity to discuss the policies that impact everyday life, with the guidance of a special guest policy expert, such as:
- Energy
- Solar Subsidies
- Taxation
- The State Budget
- Education Freedom
- MaineCare
- And MORE!
Maine may be facing significant challenges, but the camaraderie and enthusiasm were notable as each participant completed their Policy Passport to become an official Lead Maine Policy Expert. We’re already looking forward to next year!
